Another year around the track together!

Wimmera Mallee Ag are once again proud sponsors of Danny Smith @ Grindley-Smith Racing for the 2022 season. This rocket chassis which competes in most speedways in Victoria as well as racing at some venues in South Australia, is duel registered for super sedans and unlimited sedans.

Owner and driver Danny Smith is so passionate about competing in this absolute machine “I have always wanted to drive a car like this and now I have the opportunity to race it. Love the sound and speed of it. We reach speeds of 90km to 140km/h on oval clay tracks which are on average 400 metres round. Getting used to the speed, horsepower (700hp) and setting up the car for handling on each track is ongoing learning and experience. ”

It’s already been an eventful season as Danny and his crew finished third at Nagambie Speedway in VSC Unlimited Sedans! Look out for this machine on December 3rd as they finally get to race at their closest track, their club Horsham Speedway Drivers Club at Blue Ribbon Raceway out at Kalkee.
